One of two paintings, the other being Fauna (next slide). This one represents the Earth’s plant life. Look for her sweetpea earrings, forsythia hair, cherry necklace, weeping willow and autumn leaves sleeves. Her skirt represents the four seasons on a trail in Colonial Williamsburg (Bassett’s Trace). With the painting of Flora to the right and Fauna to the left, the two paintings merge together to form one scene.
