Welcome to my web site.

Williamsburg, Virginia - where I live and paint - could be called the birthplace of American art. Before the English settlers in nearby Jamestown imported glass-blowing and metalcrafting, native Indians' pottery and stone carvings merged function and beauty.  Colonial Williamsburg's fine crafts made it a business hub in the 18th century  and a nationally celebrated destination today.

Many acclaimed artists now call this area home:

Carlton Abbott, Nancy Thomas, Jan Ledbetter, Michelle Ericksonamong other Williamsburg artists.   We also have an abundance of galleries and museums, such as the Muscarelle Museum at the College of William and Mary, This Century Art Gallery, and Colonial Williamsburg's Dewitt-Wallace Gallery.  Check out more of Williamsburg artists, galleries and museums here.

I invite you to come to Williamsburg to see

all of our art venues in person.
